10th Street Duplex

Size: 4000 s.f.
Builder: Dave De La Ossa, Natural Homes and Solar
Located in walking distance south of the University of Arizona campus in the City historic district, this project was designed to compliment the existing historic homes in the neighborhood . The duplex has architectural features from the front covered entry porch, roof lines, louvered gables and use of materials that captures elements of the 100 year old neighborhood.

The duplex floor plan offers a 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom unit with each bedroom with its own private bathroom. The 2-bedroom unit has a Study room with supporting work stations and connecting common bathroom. Each unit has a full kitchen and its own private front covered entry porch. The second level bedroom at each unit has its own private open deck and supporting air conditioning and heating unit.

Our experience with Signature Design Studio has been fantastic. The work of Signature Design Studio and the guidance of Raymond Ybarra has been invaluable in the development of our duplex. Raymond had been with us every step of the way, beginning with the land acquisition, initial planning and site layout and thereafter including schematic design, construction drawings and permitting, contract management and construction supervision and oversight. In addition, Raymond  was able to recommend and introduce us to our contractor, Without Raymond’s input throughout, our job would have been much more difficult, particularly given our location on the East Coast. He is a pleasure to work with, anticipates our needs and, in summary, has been our right arm and go-to guy on the ground. We strongly endorse Raymond Ybarra and Signature Design Studio for residential architectural and planning services.
